What file types can I upload?

Contract Files

Only PDF files can be uploaded unless your organization has selected expanded capabilities. Password-protected files cannot be processed.

NOTE: If you attempt to upload an unsupported file type, it will not be accepted.  A small warning appears in the upload panel on the right of the upload page.

 

Attachments

If your organization has the attachment feature, please note that for security reasons any attachments uploaded with .svg, .htm, .html, or .shtml will have .txt appended to them. If you would like to view one of these uploaded attachments in its original format, you can download it and rename it on your computer by removing ".txt" from the file name.

Knowable does not accept the following file types as attachments: 

.xcf, .icns, .dmg, .exe, .swf, .ico, .flv, .ps, .nes, .crx, .xpi, .cab, .deb, .rpm, .ar, .mts, .wasm, .blend, .cur, .ktx, .ape, .lnk, .f4v, .f4p, .f4a, .f4b, .mie, .rar, .bat, .vbs, .js, .asp, .php

Please note that if you upload encrypted files, Knowable Insights may not be able to search them.
