Find a Contract – Dual Search
When you Ask Knowable a question, you will now see two options at the top of your Contracts Grid.
- The first option will update your Contract Grid results with contracts that contains both Knowable verified data (e.g. Essentials) & keyword search results.
- The second option will update your Contract Grid results with contracts that contain only keyword(s) or contract language and/or client supplied metadata fields (e.g. Intake Form). This is useful when documents are designated as Search only (no Essentials) or where Essentials analysis is pending.
For example, ask “Show me fixed term contracts that mention privacy” and select ‘View Documents’, you will now see two options at the top of your Contracts Grid.
On the left, Knowable verified data & keyword search results
On the right, only keyword(s) or contract language and/or client supplied metadata fields
Find a Contract: Tags
- You can now search for tagged documents using Ask Knowable. Simply enter a prompt like, “find contracts with tag data privacy”. When you click on ‘View Documents, the relevant Tags will be included in the filter criteria.
- Please note that results include partial matches (e.g., if “Privacy” is in the beginning or end of the Tag name, the Tag will be included.

Citations
- When you are in the Document Details Page and Ask Knowable about the agreement (for example, “summarize the customer obligations in the contract in a list”), you will now see Citations icons for each of the results.
- If you click on a Citations icon, you will be taken directly to the location in the document where Ask Knowable found the language.
