New Features & Enhancements
Search Suggestions
Figuring out how to best search for the document you need, at times, is challenging. It is easy to be overwhelmed with the amount of data at your fingertips or in your contracts. When you think about it, even a single counterparty or client can have dozens of similar entity names. Knowable remains focused on surfacing the right contracts to you when you need them. With that in mind, we are launching a new feature “search suggestions.” With this release, you can now:
- View Search Tips as soon as you type in the Search Box – offering guidance on how to enter keywords today.
- Start to see suggestions after typing as few as 3 characters when entering keywords in the Search Box. Suggestions appear based on both Knowable verified data as well as the underlying contract text.
- Click on suggestions to go directly to the search results without having to type in the full word or phrase.
Enhanced contract viewing experience.
In this release, you will notice a faster and more feature-rich contract viewing experience. Now when you open a contract, you will see:

- Visible document information
- The Document Title (or File Name) appears at the top of the page. File name appears when first uploaded. Document title is present after the contract review is complete.
- The Contract Status color indicator displays in top left to help you understand if the contract review is complete.
- Progress bar. When opening large files, a progress bar will appear – offering a clear indication when a contract is completely available to view and search.
- PDF search options. Search options now appear in the PDF menu –allowing you to search while still viewing the converted data. Options include: Highlight all, Match Case and Whole Words.
- Presentation mode option. You can now view the contract in full-screen (or presentation) mode when you need to read specific contract language or take a closer look at the contract itself (click on the icon). Alternatively, you can use the Zoom option in the center of the PDF menu to zoom in/out in the page.
- New icons. We’ve updated the replace, attachments and download buttons with the following icons

- Additional options such as a page thumbnail view, rotate options, document properties, and hand/text selection tools.
