Ask Knowable

Ask Knowable is a GenAI powered feature available throughout Knowable Insights. It is designed to revolutionize how you interact with and understand your contracts, targeting the specific use cases most requested from Knowable.  You can use Ask Knowable to: 

• Find: Instantly find contracts using conversational prompts, no need for complex filters or data modeling expertise. 
• Summarize: Quickly digest critical terms and obligations with AI-generated summaries of individual agreements.
• Interact: Engage directly with advanced Generative AI for answers to specific questions, understanding what is in a specific agreement more easily.  

Find a Contract

The Ask Knowable feature is in the upper righthand corner of Knowable Insights. Click on Ask Knowable to open the ‘Find a Contract’ panel. Start asking questions naturally about contracts you need.

Sample questions are available to get you started. Ask Knowable transforms these into powerful searches  – the more detailed your questions, the more precise your responses will be.

• Ask Knowable interprets the questions and matches them to filters and keywords, so the more detail you provide, the higher the chance Ask Knowable will identify the right criteria.
  • Example: “Show me my contract with the account number 8675309” will provide better results than “show me 8675309”
• You can request similar words or phrases like this:
  • Find my contracts that include data privacy language or similar concepts in the contract.
• If you are not asking a follow up question to refine your results, it is best to start a new conversation.

As you narrow down on the contracts you need, you can:

1. Select View Documents to see your results,
2. Download your data in a spreadsheet, or
3. Tag your results.

Ask Knowable in the Document Details Page  

Once you have found an agreement that you want to explore further, Ask Knowable makes it as simple as having a conversation with the document itself, helping speed up document review. 

You can ask any question about your document and – if it is within the text of the document – Ask Knowable provides you with the answers you need.   

 

• First, click on the "Ask" button above the document.  
• Ask Knowable will open the Document Summary tab, generating an AI summary and other high-level information about the agreement.    
• To ask a question about the agreement, click the "Ask About this Document" tab then click into the text box to start typing your question.  

If you want to ask a question about another document, select and open that document to Ask Knowable about it.

You can switch between dark and light modes based on your preference.
