Know if Your Contracts are Active or Inactive
Whether you are referencing a specific contract, updating terms, or negotiating a new agreement with your counterparty, you need to quickly understand if your current contract is still in force or expired. Knowable Insights highlights which contracts are active, inactive – or even if more information is required to know the answer.
The contract status will be visible in the following areas:
- the Contracts Table view (pictured below)
- the Contract Details view next to the document’s title (or file name)
- the Related Contracts pane, and
- the Family View
You can also quickly narrow the Contracts Table view to active, inactive, unknown or in review contracts using the Contract Status filters available in the top of the Filter panel. Select the status you’d like and click Apply on the bottom of the Filter panel to narrow your contract results.
Tooltips are also available to provide guidance:
- Active: Your contract has been reviewed and is currently in force
- Inactive: Your contract has been reviewed and has passed its lapse date or expired
- Unknown: Your contract has been reviewed and the expiration or lapse date information was not found within the document.
Additionally, unknown can also indicate when a family member is missing and the effect on the overall family cannot be determined, or that the agreement is Out of Scope.
